# Controls — 2018 PGP poem `98DZzeYr`

## Scope

This is a finite negative-control audit, not an unconstrained cipher hunt.
It tests only whole strings obtained through predeclared, source-visible
readings. It does not select arbitrary substrings, anagrams, a wordlist, or
a new external target after inspecting the output.

All six strict syntax families are false for every entire channel above.
That does not prove the poem is meaningless; it rules out only a directly
encoded URL/domain/onion address/Bitcoin address/hex-byte string in this
predeclared reading set.

## Known-route identifier control

The check uses only the five documented route handles listed in the JSON.
No full channel contains any of them.
This prevents `TOR UNIX` from being described as a recovery of an earlier
address: it names no documented endpoint string.

## Order controls

- Line 1 has `6` distinct word orders; only `1` produces `JUSTINSUN`.
- Line 2 has `24` distinct word orders; only `1` produces `TORUNIX`.

Those results show that the compact strings depend on the signed word order.
They do not supply a key, payload type, recipient, or destination.

## Why `TRONIX` is not a source-selected output

- The complete left-to-right line is `TORUNIX`.
- `TRONIX` is a left-to-right subsequence: **False**.
- Choosing exactly one first-or-last letter from each of the four words yields `ONIX`, `ORIX`, `TNIX`, `TRIX`; `TRONIX` is not among them.

The proposed string requires a special mixed reordering and repeats the first
two words before appending the singleton letters. The signed punctuation and
surrounding signed material do not select that operation.

## The 23-word count

The one-indexed 23rd word is `FIND`. It is the visible final word of the poem, not an independently selected hidden payload. The source supplies no rule choosing a 23-word index operation.

## Conclusion

The two compact opening strings are exact, order-dependent features of the signed poem. In a fixed set of whole-string readings they contain no strict address/credential syntax and no documented prior route identifier. TOR UNIX remains a context-compatible respacing without an endpoint; TRONIX fails the simple order-preserving endpoint control. No new key, address, command, or final answer is established.
