# Review of the newer external researcher research repository — 27 July 2026

## Scope

This note reviews commit `e4c7795fc0b0bd9134987e70c1b65d20fd4b9516`
and its relevant predecessors in the separate research checkout.  A commit
message is not evidence by itself.  A result is incorporated here only where it
can be checked against an already preserved primary artifact or a checked-in
reproducibility record.

## Incorporated

### Rendezvous kolam ring — confirmed

The newer checkout's `decode_final.py` describes a lattice-fit / local-Otsu
variant of the kolam extraction.  Its 704-nibble stream, panel order
`7,8,9,10,11,1,2,3,4,5,6`, one-nibble cyclic phase, and circular 352-byte
warning agree character-for-character with this dossier's checked-in
`solution/rendezvous/transcription.json` (`decoded_kambi_ring`).  The PNG hash
is the same: `0c6a3fd7891cc194d4beccb0d0c33fae8c39bf96277ab9dd6a4ed975efd4f561`.

An obsolete negative sentence in the public ledger, left over from an earlier
limited transform sweep, was therefore removed.  It had tested a different
crossing classifier and did not supersede the stored complete extraction.

### Book page 16 — four verse addresses re-read from the page image

The four cubes visibly contain adjacent number pairs in the same relative
position (second 3-by-3 layer, middle row, columns 2–3):

This is a primary-derived reading of `original_png/Tengri-137-16.png`, using
the page's own repeated-position instruction.  It confirms the earlier
community verse references; it does not establish a real-world target for the
author's rhetoric.  John 7:12's “he deceiveth the people” is a reasonable
intra-corpus antecedent for the later Rendezvous phrase about a charlatan
seducing the masses, but remains a paraphrase rather than a quoted source.

## Reviewed but not promoted

### 2018 video

The newer checkout correctly retracts an earlier claim that two late quiet gaps
were author-inserted.  Its score comparison identifies them as written general
pauses in Contrapunctus I.  This agrees with the dossier's existing bounded
video result: the gaps are not a specified code and the preserved transcode
does not reveal a new message.  No new key, payload, or authorship result is
added.

### Vumarii 2024/25 material

The final-status note also records a chain-of-custody failure: a supposedly
independent visual confirmation reused a provisional mapping that had already
entered the corpus. This means the earlier apparent confirmation cannot be
treated as independent support for a source-text alignment or glyph key.

The newer checkout's final status retracts its own tentative 12–15 symbol
mapping and retains only two tentative class associations.  It reports failed
controls for several simple language/cipher models and identifies segmentation
as the principal bottleneck.  The underlying 2024/25 source images and the
full calibration set are not part of this dossier's verified public artifact
set, so this is recorded as a useful warning against over-reading, not as a
new established Vumarii result.  In particular, it supplies no plaintext.

## Conclusion

The material strengthens two existing conclusions: Rendezvous is a complete
raster-derived warning, and later Vumarii claims remain unresolved.  It does
not close the 2037 appointment, the lost WAV tail, Page 23 authorial intent,
or authorship.
